I came home after yet another 13 hour day in the hospital and turned on my computer. As my aged powerbook sputtered to life and slowly booted, I thought about how disappointed I was 2 years ago. How shocked and ashamed I was that our country had elected these people. Today, I knew the house was ours; a powerful statement in itself. I was floored when I saw that the senate had a change of hands as well.
I have many many news sites and blogs that I need to read, but I’m falling asleep at the keyboard. At least I can fall asleep with a sense of optimism that I haven’t had in 2 years.
