I arrived back in Portland late last night with Christie and Jenny. Vegas was an amazing time. I was shocked at how many people were there – I thought it would be slow during Christmas. Just goes to show that the godless-heathen-movement is still alive and strong as ever.
I may be going to Bend today, though that is up in the air since Christie isn’t feeling well… I think Vegas wore her out.
I hope everyone had a great holiday!

for the lack of updates. It’s just evidence that my life isn’t too exciting right now. I did nothing but study this weekend, which isn’t bad since I like the subject, but I am realizing that I’m missing certain things more and more. For example – last year I was able to read quite a few books – books that were unrelated to medical school. I haven’t been able to read a book for fun since early October. It’s therapy for me to read, and I need to find a way to fit that into my schedule.
There’s a light on the horizon though – I’ll be heading back to Oregon on the 22nd. Everyone should plan on being in Portland for the New Year. Though there will probably not be any proposals of marriage like last year, I promise that a drunken-fun-time will be had by all.

I feel like I’m in the 2nd grade again….

In other news, all is well up here in the Bronx. Once again, tests are coming up fast and I can’t wait to get home for the holidays.

This is what I woke up to this morning…

I think I’ll stay inside and catch up on some classwork.

New York is great. It’s an amazing place, and I’ve realized that autumn is the best time of year to enjoy it. I just wish that there was some kind of transition or warning when the weather is going to change drastically. It went from being high 60s to miserably cold seemingly overnight.
Despite freezing my ass off in the city today, things are good. I attended a surprise birthday party for a good friend where I ate more than my share of vegan food and I got some studying in as well.
